1. Eligibility

• Open to any participant who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

• Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members of the Sponsor and its affiliates are not eligible to participate

2. Entry Period

• The giveaway begins at May 4, 2025  and ends at May 5, 2025 (the "Entry Period").​

3. How to Enter

Participants must complete the following steps:

1. Take a photo with the CANCÚN letters installation in Times Square, NYC.

2. Follow @turismocancunbj on Instagram.
   Post your photo with the Cancún letters in NYC, tag @turismocancunbj in the image and caption, and include the hashtag #KnowCancun in your post.
   Important: Make sure your Instagram profile is set to public so we can see your entry.

3. Fill out the entry form at https://www.turismocancun.mx/nyc.​

No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

4. Prize

• One (1) winner will receive a 7-night all-inclusive stay for two at the Hard Rock Hotel in Cancún or Riviera Maya.

• Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $3,000 USD

• The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.​

Hotel Terms & Conditions:

• Stay must be booked directly with the hotel’s reservations team through a designated contact.

• Prize is subject to hotel availability.

• Prize is valid for one (1) year from the date the winner is notified.

• Blackout dates apply, including but not limited to:

  • Easter Week

  • Christmas and New Year’s holidays

  • U.S. Thanksgiving week

  • Major local or international events hosted at the property

Winner is responsible for:

• Any incidental expenses during the stay (e.g., spa services, excursions, or off-plan consumption).

• Local travel-related taxes and fees, which must be paid in accordance with hotel and destination regulations.

• Valid government-issued photo ID and a major credit card may be required at check-in for incidentals.

 

5. Winner Selection and Notification

• The winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period.

• The drawing will take place on May 12th, 2025.

• The winner will be notified via the contact information provided in the entry form within 3 days of the drawing.

• If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 10 days, an alternate winner may be selected.​

6. Publicity Release

• By participating, entrants grant the Sponsor permission to use their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.​

7. Privacy

• Personal information collected from entrants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the giveaway and will not be shared with third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the giveaway.​

8. General Conditions

• The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the giveaway if any fraud, technical failures, or other factors impair the integrity of the giveaway.

• The Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical errors, or unauthorized human intervention.​

9. Limitation of Liability

• By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability arising from participation in the giveaway or acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.​

10. Disputes

• The giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of  Quintana Roo.

• Any disputes arising from the giveaway will be resolved in the courts located in Cancún, Quintana Roo, México.
